Weekly Update: January 26th - Feb 1st.
Hello Pioneer Ridge - we have lots to do this week!
First, the winning recipe from this year's Men's Chili Cook-Off has been printed in the newsletter and is also on-line. Please click the link on the left for details.
Today (Monday) at 1 p.m., we will host Part IV of our weekly series with Dr. Dengel. The lesson today will recap the previous weeks and provide you lots of information. Beginning next week Monday at 12:30 p.m., I will be hosting a weekly cooking demo and discussion on whole food / plant based eating in the Multi-purpose room. Anyone interested in sharing recipes and joining the conversation is welcome. Please register at the desk to participate in these free events.
Next week Tuesday night, mark your calendars for one final dose of inspiration, served up by Pat Humphrey entitled "How Plant Based Eating Saved My Life". This talk is open to the public and will showcase one man's return from a grim diagnosis coupled with an abundance of information on how you can follow in his footsteps. Scheduled at 6:30 p.m., even if you are not considering plant based eating as a way of life, this talk will highlight the importance of being your own health advocate and arm you with information on where you can do your own research. See the newsletter for a full description then bring and friend and join me on February 3rd! This talk will be repeated at North Ridgeville Education Center in April - wouldn't it be amazing to have some testimonials from Pioneer Ridge to share then?
